People People Boyd/Leroi Jam -> Typical Situation
Set is partial, rest unknown. This show is listed on other websites as including What Would You Say, The Best of What's Around, One Sweet World, Lover Lay Down, and Warehouse. A recording exists of all of these songs together, but the five songs listed above are not live performances. They may be soundchecks or other recordings, but they were not part of this performance. It also sounds like there was a tape cut between People People and the Boyd solo, so there may be other songs played between the two.

-Soundcheck- Peter Jam-> Exodus Spoken word*-> Exodus-> Won't Ever Jam**-> One Sweet World***
The tapes circulating are most likely a soundcheck. Please refer to http://db.etree.org/lookup_show.php?shows_key=127050. Do not add this to your lists. * A portion of this jam is the same as the one Peter played on 06.01.92. ** we're going to call this one Won't Ever, because that's what Dave sings toward the middle of the jam. *** With Kristen Ashbury. The rest of the show is unknown. It is very possible that OSW is the first song of the night. The band might not have had time to do a full check earlier and thus did one with people already in the room. For some reason, copies of this abbreviated show included the #36 from the 7.27.93 show. Because of the uniqueness of the lyrics from that performance (the 1st not about Chris Hani), people thought the song belonged with the 6/27 show. That is incorrect.

Disc I 01. The Best Of What?s Around 02. Ants Marching 03. So Much To Say 04. Warehouse 05. The Maker 06. One Sweet World 07. Pay For What You Get
-- This traditionally was a portioned show labeled 11/16/92 with BOWA, SMTS, and The Maker. BOWA and SMTS are live, and studio polished, The Maker is studio, probably circa 12/91, 6/92 Ardent Studios, or perhaps from an unknown studio performance in 1992. The bulk of the songs were the original Filler on the 1/5/92 Rutabaga Demo tape. After dates became confused, it was often traded as 1/5/92 Trax. 11/16/92 is not the true date, but judging by the sound of the songs, it was probably put together around that time. -- No one is really sure why the band put together the live demo. It?s plausible that they used the demo to ?shop around? their music to record companies. This is simply speculation, but the band did use some sort of live demo to introduce their music to record companies. (AM.org)

Warehouse Halloween Granny What Would You Say Spotlight The Maker All Along The Watchtower Me & Julio Down By The Schoolyard Help Myself Minarets >> Blue Water Lover Lay Down Lie In Our Graves True Reflections
The date of this show is not known exactly. It is often traded as 07/15/92 Trax, but that is certainly wrong given the presence of Granny & Halloween in the setlist. An approximate time period for this is late November or early December just based on the setlist, but it is most likely either December 1 or December 8 at Trax. Dave mentions Tuesday night, so it's almost certainly a Trax show. Plus he says "Merry Christmas". It seems unlikely he would say that if it was still November (like 11/24 - around Thanksgiving), and there are only two Trax shows in December that are not already recorded (12/01 and 12/08). It may be more likely Dave would say Merry Christmas if it was later in December, possibly around the time many UVA students are finishing up with their finals exams and heading home for Christmas. That is why I picked December 8th as the date but it may never be 100% confirmed. Some sources also speculate that this given setlist comes from a mixed up tape of the 12.22.1992 show. A conversion by Adam Nelson surfaced, and when it got out he made the following comment: That 12/08/92 show is an error on my part and should never have been uploaded. It is not a real show and is actually part of 02/13/92 and 12/22/92, so if you have it, please delete it so we don't keep spreading it around.
