In conversion from source discs it was necessary to remove 4118-sample gaps from Disc #1 (this corresponds to approx 1/10th of a second, not the 2-second gaps one would expect with TAO) between most tracks. For disc #2, the gaps were 89377 samples (2 seconds + a little bit). Removal of these gaps from discs #1 & #2 left seamless joins. For disc #3, there were 133477 sample-gaps (3-and-a-bit seconds!!), and minor repairs were necessary at each gap to avoid clicks. A very small number of additional clicks and gaps were removed - many remain, especially right at the beginning of disc #1.

Matt VernonSHN3 Set 1 kind of drags, like everyone just got out of bed without an espresso. China>Rider reflects this, played slowly, didn't get my head nodding or any part of my body tapping along, and it has a splice which cuts what little momentum there was. Not bad, just not as good as other dates on this tour. First 6 songs the mix is changing and there is some leakage of radio or background pickup (right before Big River good example). Playin' typical. Truckin > TOO played in a jazzy style all the way though, no meltdown into deep abstract spacey jamming, just jazzy playing. Show worth one listen, but you won't leave it in the cd changer a long time.
